Apple Begins Decorating Ahead of Tuesday's iPad Announcement

Apple Begins Decorating Ahead of Tuesday's iPad Announcement

On Tuesday, Apple told the world that it has "more to cover" and will do so next week during its grand unveiling of the next-generation iPad.

Two days removed from the distribution of media invites, decorations are now on their way to San Francisco's Yuerba Buena Center for the Arts. Once again, this particular venue - which played host to the first iPad unveiling in 2010 - will be the location where the world will see the iPad 5 for the first time.

The first shots of the facility's early stages of decorating were captured this afternoon and quickly traversed the tech blogosphere. Not surprisingly, the design is consistent with the imagery depicted on the media invites that turned up on Tuesday.

With five days to go until the October 22nd event commences, the industry is still anticipating Apple to debut not only the new iPad 5 but also a Retina Display iPad mini 2. Apple may also use the event to launch OS X Mavericks and possibly even an update to the company's MacBook Pros.
