'ClassicLockScreen' Brings the iOS 6-style Lock Screen to iOS 7
If you're on iOS 7, but you prefer the iOS 6-style Lock Screen, you can now check out a new jailbreak tweak called ClassicLockScreen by iOS developer CoolStar.
ClassicLockScreen will give even iOS 7 users a Lock Screen that partially resembles the iOS 6 Lock Screen, as shown above.
The tweak changes the Lock Screen interface around a little bit, re-adding the slider bar, the glass effect, and the dark Status Bar. The tweak also supports the iOS 6-style 4-digit passcode entering interface, the iOS 6-style Lock Screen music interface, the iOS 6-style Lock Screen notifications, and much more.
The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can adjust a few options:
You will be able to enable or disable the tweak on demand, enable or disable the Lock Screen camera grabber, and enable or disable having the seconds appear in the Lock Screen clock. There is also a respring button that you'll want to tap on whenever you make changes in order to save them.
If you would like to cure your iOS 6 Lock Screen nostalgia, ClassicLockScreen is a decent way of doing that. It's not perfect, but it helps re-create the experience pretty well. If you would like to give the tweak a try, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository for 99¢.
The tweak currently only works with the iPhone or iPod touch and is not yet compatible with the iPad.
