'CCClockOpenToAlarm' Changes the Control Center Clock Shortcut to Open the Alarm Tab

'CCClockOpenToAlarm' Changes the Control Center Clock Shortcut to Open the Alarm Tab

When it comes right down to it, we probably use the alarm feature in our Clock application more than we use the timer feature. With that being said, it makes more sense to have the clock shortcut in iOS 7's Control Center open up the Alarm tab, rather than the Timer tab.

A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed CCClockOpenToAlarm by iOS developer Jerry En changes the clock shortcut in Control Center so that when you tap on it, it will open the Clock application to the Alarm tab rather than the Timer tab, as shown above.

With this new shortcut, you can gain easier access to your alarms without the extra step of having to move to another tab after using the shortcut. It's a simple matter of convenience that some iOS device users may find useful during their daily lives.

If you want to give CCClockOpenToAlarm a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak has no options to configure.
