Expedited Shipping for Apple Watch Gets Offered to Randomly Selected Developers
It was noted that emails were sent out by Apple recently to certain developers, offering them the 42mm Apple Watch Sport with an expedited April 28th ship date. Twitter user Amro Mousa reported that the silver aluminum case with a Blue Sport Band Apple Watch model was the one being offered to developers. For those wondering how to get their hands on this smartwatch, you will have to register and then hope you get selected at random by Apple.
Developers can register now until Thursday, April 23rd and the registration will close at 10am PT (1pm ET). Apple will also be reaching out to those selected that Thursday, so be on the look out and cross your fingers. If you don’t get picked, you can always order the wearable device and just wait for it. The official launch date of the Apple Watch is the next day on April 24th anyway. It may be worth waiting for a more specific model you are interested in, since the one being offered to developers is a chosen model and band color.
